چکیده

As an important branch of quantum secure multiparty computation, quantum private comparison (QPC) has attracted more and more attention recently. In this paper, according to the quantum implementation mecha‐ nism that these protocols used, we divide these protocols into three categories: The quantum cryptography QPC, the superdense coding QPC, and the entanglement swapping QPC. And then, a more in‐depth analy‐ sis on the research progress, design idea, and substantive characteristics of corresponding QPC categories is carried out, respectively. Finally, the applications of QPC and quantum secure multi‐party computation issues are discussed and, in addition, three possible research mainstream directions are pointed out.

A review of quantum thermodynamics

In this article, we present a brief and elementary review of quantum thermodynamics and its achievements and challenges. This review includes an introduction to some fundamental concepts such as internal energy, heat, work, entropy, entropy production, thermal equilibrium, second law of quantum thermodynamics, relation between thermodynamics and information theory, as well as a discussion of ho...

The Measurement and Comparison of Technical Efficiency Between Public and private Textile Industry in Iran

This paper is concerned with the estimation of frontier production function to measure the technical efficiency for Iranian textile companies during 1995. The objective of this estimation is to investigate if there are any differences in the technical efficiency between the private and public firms as well as the relationship between technical efficiency and size of textile companies in Iran. A...

The Private Classical Capacity of a Partially Degradable Quantum Channel

For a partially degradable (PD) channel, the channel output state can be used to simulate the degraded environment state. The quantum capacity of a PD channel has been proven to be additive. Here, we show that the private classical capacity of arbitrary dimensional PD channels is equal to the quantum capacity of the channel and also single-letterizes. We prove that higher rates of private class...

Maximal privacy without coherence.

Privacy is a fundamental feature of quantum mechanics. A coherently transmitted quantum state is inherently private. Remarkably, coherent quantum communication is not a prerequisite for privacy: there are quantum channels that are too noisy to transmit any quantum information reliably that can nevertheless send private classical information. Here, we ask how much private classical information a...

Quantum Private Information Retrieval with Sublinear Communication Complexity

This note presents a quantum protocol for private information retrieval, in the case of a single (honest) server and with information-theoretical privacy, that has O( √ n)qubit communication complexity, where n denotes the size of the database. In comparison, it is known that any classical protocol must use Ω(n) bits of communication in this setting. ACM Classification: F.2.3 AMS Classification...
